It gives me great joy to connect with communities, congregations, and organizations around the U.S. and in my state of Michigan. I appreciate the many expressions of work and ministry that are taking place across our country, and it is a gift to be present and learn what others are doing.

I speak and lead workshops at retreats and conferences, and I serve frequently as a guest preacher for congregations. Alongside these forms of ministry, I also welcome the opportunity to have a conversation with your community over Skype or Google Hangout.

I am passionate to build connections between rich, theological ideas, community, and movements of inclusion in our local contexts. I am particularly interested in topics that focus upon

— Interfaith dialogue
— Disability culture, access, and inclusion
— Demographic changes in the religious landscape of the U.S.
(see more about my involvement with Michigan Nones and Dones)
— Themes of community formation, kinship, and chosen family
— Young adult community, spiritual development, and mentorship

You may email me at to inquire about speaking opportunities.
