I had a chance to spend some time in Austin, Texas over the long weekend, and it was a joy-filled respite. It was also warm and absolutely gorgeous. I’d love to share some of my photography from my time there.

Early bird?????
In my case, nightbird — sleep hasn’t come yet. But my mind cleared into an organized state and I am peaceful. (Love the artist nightbyrde by the way — and her song “Brave.”
Sometimes this shift to peaceful sleeplessness indicates me coming out of the “deep rest” phase so I will be hopeful about that.

I scheduled this one. 🙂 But WordPress has it on UTC-0 time, and I forget that it’s 5 hours ahead. So when I set it for 9:30am, it posts at 4:30am.

Love these! Austin has grown a lot in the 30 years since I lived there, even though I was able to return for a visit in 2012. Thank you for sharing!
