I Can Moment-Make and So Can You

I was chatting with a friend about those kinds of moments when we find ourselves in a flow state. Do you know what I mean? Sometimes we get into a mode where we’re doing something that’s really in our wheelhouse or something that’s engaging our creativity, and it’s just flowing in a beautiful way.

Do you ever feel in the zone like that? I know we can live in eras when those moments are few and far between, but when they come, it feels so energizing.

I felt like that recently while doing some public speaking, and I was talking about it with a friend. I didn’t intend this, but I ended up using a hyphenated verb.

“When I’m in that mode, I can really moment-make.”

And of course, what I meant is that I can make a moment feel special. I can invite people to be deeply present.

But I liked thinking of this as a verb — a concept. We can moment-make.

Some of us do that in community, but all of us can do that in our own daily experiences. When we get into flow, into our zone, we become deeply present.

We moment-make.
